Well, everyone it is that time of year again! It's time to share with you some of my very favorite beauty products either discovered or just well-loved in the year 2022 that I also think would make gorgeous holiday gifts for the beauty lover on your list or anyone you want to give an extra special treat this Season, or to put on your own wishlist. Some of the products I will mention already have had dedicated reviews written about them on La Petite Rose (which I will link to for further information), and others may well show up in review weeks to come, as I am sure my love for them will more than endure. For now, though, let's get in to the products.

Best of Haircare Tweak'd by Nature Limitless Styling Cream ($29 USD through QVC/QVC.com and Tweak'd.com): By far, one of the most standout haircare items I've used consistently this year is the Tweak'd by Nature Limitless Styling Cream. I have already posted a review on this, but in brief, this has totally changed my hairstyling game. I am someone with fine, thin, wavy, and dry hair and often struggle to find both curl-defining and volumizing products that give me a hold and definition that is not stiff and doesn't contribute to further hair breakage. This, however, gives me everything I need: springier, more texturized waves, a tiny bit more volume, and best of all more hydrated, softer stronger hair. I also love that this product is made with natural, "cleaner" ingredients that help to treat and strengthen the hair as it helps make and preserve your style. What is great about this for gifting is that it is not just limited to particular hair type or sought after style. It can be used as a smoothing cream for straight hair and as a way to make short styles edgier and piecier, so whomever may be looking for a way to boost their hairstyle and hair health game all in one, this would be perfect!

Best of Skincare: Earthwise Beauty Rosa Whole Fruit Rosehip Seed Oil ($50 USD 30 ml size through Earthwisebeauty.com) Wildcrafted, organic, artisanal skincare brand Earthwise Beauty is a line that continues to impress me, Product after product transports me on a sensorial, botanical journey, and my skin looks and feels calm and happy. Though I have tried nearly all the brand offers and would recommend almost anything, their pure, whole fruit rosehip seed oil, Rosa, wins my pick for skincare gift of choice for this year, Rosehip seed oil as a single ingredient is known for powerful skin strengthening and moisturization as well as antioxidant protection and for improving evenness of skintone, acne spots and scarring, and even wrinkle depth. Basically, regardless of your skin type or concern, rosehip seed oil can have provide some benefit, and to get one made and sourced at the high quality Earthwise offers and at a fairly affordable price is really special. Plus, this being a single oil, it is very well tolerated even among those with very sensitive skin and layers well with other products either for day or night or both, making it an easy, workable addition into anyone's skincare routine.

Best of Makeup: Glossier Lash Slick Mascara ($16 USD through Glossier.com) It may seem unusual to recommend a mascara (and one I have mentioned in several blog posts including a specific product review already), but Glossier' s Lash Slick is truly the makeup item that I not only would universally recommend the most to anyone but also want the most again for myself for Christmas this year. This long-lash, curving, sweeping beauty offers the perfect finishing touch to any eye look-- barely there or full-on glam, and the formula also contains ingredients that help to strength and condition your eyelashes. As mascara is the most repurchased and often the most beloved item for most any makeup wearer, a good, solid mascara is a more than welcome gift idea and one that a beauty novice or a beauty maven will certainly appreciate.

Best of Bodycare: WEN by Chaz Dean 319 Ultra-Nourishing Intensive Body Treatment (Retails for $80 available through QVC/QVC.com and ChazDean.com) I have recently fallen back in lobe with the 319 version of WEN's body cream. Though mostly known for haircare, Chaz Dean (the creator of WEN) has certainly delivered a unique product to tackle and soothe dry, itchy skin for any season, including most especially Winter. Featuring Vitamin K and arnica (two less common skincare ingredients), this cream not only addresses dryness but can really help address more longitudinal skin concerns such as inflammation, poor circulation, and marks of discoloration. But of course, there is also a long list of classic, powerful skin moisturizers straight from nature such as honey, panax ginseng, seaweed, dragon's blood extract jojoba seed oil, and many, many more, plus things like bamboo water to strengthen the skin and sugar cane which helps to draw water into the skin and keep it in. What impresses me the most about this cream is how well it sinks in and how lightweight and airy it feels as it absorbs into the skin, for all of its long list of moisturizing ingredients. The 319 version of this cream is one that contains no fragrance apart from the VERY subtle scent of some of the ingredients that make this cream. If, however, you would prefer (or your loved one would prefer) a scented version, WEN has several kinds available. One of my very favorites of those is 613, which is a soft, sweet combination of lemon, rosemary, and vanilla bean.

Best of Fragrance: Diptyque Eau Duelle Eau de Toilette ($115 USD for 1.7 oz bottle at diptyqueparis.com) : Diptyque is a brand that is synonymous to me with timeless avant garde luxury. Though I am a longtime fan of their legendary fig scent Philosykos, there are many others in the range that I have tried. So this year, I thought I'd highlight Eau Duelle. Eau Duelle is Dyptique's celebration of classic bourbon vanilla, but it is by no means a standard one-note, sweet smell. This vanilla is fantastically earthy and dimensional with zippy, warm pink peppercorn sparkling over its top and a waft of cypress and incense-esque components throughout to make a very unique and almost austerely chic and elegant effect. This is a scent that will definitely please all the vanilla-lovers out there (my own mom being one of them), but it can also open up the world of vanillas to those who do not usually prefer it (like myself) to offer a cozy, warm fragrance to one's scent wardrobe for this time of year and the long winter months ahead. And if you think the full bottle may be a bit of a reach for your loved one, Diptyque is also well-known for their Holiday gift sets, which often includes sample sizes or sets travel sizes of many fragrances in the line. So I totally recommend going to their site (or even other trusted fragrance retailers out there such as Luckyscent-- the website of L.A's Scentbar) and exploring.
