Glossier's Cloud Paints are one of the brand's most iconic, sought-after products. And being the diehard Glossier fan, I have been loving testing the formula and experimenting with multiple of the many pretty colors available.

Like many Glossier products, the Cloud Paint could not be more appropriately name. The formula feels lighter than air both in the moment you squeeze it from the tube and blend it onto your cheek and in every moment your wear it in the course of your makeup day. I love how it never feels sticky or tacky, even as it dries down, but it also never dries out the skin either as it sets in place.

Some things to note about this product is that it is very highly pigmented and the formula can be somewhat runny, so have a gentle hand when squeezing the product out. But this means a little goes a long way and one tube can easily last you multiple years with consistent or even daily use. Just one dollop the size of half a dime is all I need to do a full-on blush look for both cheeks. I really appreciate also how the formula, while longlasting once it does set down, does leave you plenty of time to smear and blend and diffuse the color before it settles itself. I don't find the formula at all streaky, but I mostly only use mineral powder foundations. Other people I know who've used the Cloud paint say that it can be streaky when layered with certain other cream products, but to combat this, I think applying an extra small amount and tapping it on with quick patting motions will help and also perhaps setting with a light powder when you are done with the base before putting on the blush, or else, setting the whole thing with a light layer of powder to ensure a seamless and longwearing blend of all the products.

There are currently eight shades of Cloud Paint. Storm (a deep browned rose), Dawn (a rich coral orange), Puff (a bubblegum pink), Haze (a bright yet sheer purplish fuchsia , Beam (a soft light peach), Dusk (a pinkish taupe-brown), and two newcomers, Eve (a deep plum magenta berry), and Spark (a coral pink poppy). I currently am using the color Dusk a lot, and it is the most beautiful neutral blush I've ever owned. Though the Cloud Paint formula easy to both build up and sheer out to make any of the shades universally-flattering, I do think that Dusk is a great place to start if you don't know where to go as its neutral quality would seem to adapt to any coloring and that can be both a more statement wash of color or one that is softer to pair with any bold eye look or lipcolor without competing. On my very fair, cool-toned skin, Dusk is a great neutral, barely there sculpting blush with the tiniest hint of pink flush to it. Adding on more, I can deepen the effect to look ever-so-slightly sunkissed, giving me my own variation on a bronzer that is believable and not overly orange or muddy-looking with my coloring.

Overall, if you are looking for a pigmented, but silky, lightweight, and easy-to-wear cream blush, I definitely think that Glossier Cloud Paint may be for you. All shades are sold for $18 USD on Glossier.com
